Mark started Wavecrest from a small idea and has huge plans for its development, having worked in the industry for a good number of years now he has a vast amount of contacts worldwide with friends in Tenerife, Spain, lanzarote, Egypt and Mexico....... Beccie is a very passionate diver, loving the aquatic world as she does she can show you some fantastic sites, looking for the small critters that you might not normally see, she has a vast array of knowledge in diving having learned from a young age......
Beccie is Wavecrest other instructor, working beside and with Mark now for a number of years, slowly starting to learn the Technical side of diving and moving up the tec ladder with her tec45 next on the list
Phil! Probably one of the driest humoured members of the Wavcerest team, he can normally put in something that throws you, humour is Phils way of putting people at ease and he does a great job at it.
Running a busy restaurant in Porth doesn't give him as much time as he would love to dive but when he can he will, he is a great diver and a great advocate of the aquatic world, always collecting any rubbish he sees on a site and ensuring it goes where it belongs
We are looking for Rescue divers who want to gain their Dive Master ticket, this is a none salaried position and completely voluntary but we would like you to be able to commit at least two days a week for a season, you will be paid commision on courses or equipment sold, you will be asked to help out on courses, in the shop, washing kit and filling tanks, you will however gain a lot of valuable information about the dive industry and how a busy school works
